The GenerLink is a socket-mounted transfer switch that can be installed directly behind your electric meter. It allows you to easily connect a portable generator to your entire breaker panel without requiring any home rewiring.
If your utility provider has not yet approved the GenerLink for installation directly behind their meter, you can still move forward by having it installed in a new meter can mounted adjacent to your existing one. This installation typically costs between $1,000 and $1,500 by a licensed electrician, though prices may vary.
